The Hansen Lab studies the role of Ras-like GTP-binding proteins in epithelial morphogenesis and oncogenic transformation.
Core activities
We study the role of Ras-like GTP-binding (G) proteins in morphogenesis and oncogenic transformation of simple polarized epithelial cells. The work is of direct relevance to cancer, but also to other disease where Ras-like G proteins are widely implicated, including developmental and neurological disorders, as well as infectious and autoimmune diseases.
