One fellow per year will be accepted for participation in this program, which begins in July and ends in June, and salary support will be provided at the level of a fourth-year fellow (PGY7). At the completion of this fellowship, the trainee will be eligible to sit for the American Board of Pediatrics Transplant Hepatology Board examination.

Boston Children’s Hospital is the major pediatric teaching facility for Harvard Medical School. The Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition includes more than 60 faculty members and a full panel of GI subspecialty programs. There are four full-time transplant hepatology boards certified/eligible faculty members in theLiver, Multivisceral, Intestine Transplant Program, which is the busiest pediatric liver transplant service in New England.
