Frequently Asked Questions |Overview

What happens during a visit?

At each visit, patients do various types of exercises and learn about making healthy lifestyle choices. During the visit, patients will meet one-on-one with a clinical exercise physiologist to work on cardiorespiratory fitness, muscle strength and flexibility exercises. The exercise physiologist will also explain the principles of fitness training and help patient develop a home exercise plan.

Patients also meet with a nutritionist to get information about a healthy diet. If the patient has any psychosocial needs, we can make a referral to our psychologist.

Every thirty days, the team meets to assesses the patient’s progress and develop renewed goals.
