The Boston HAPPENS Program has been actively involved in many research projects aimed at providing a better understanding of HIV, developing new interventions for at-risk and homeless youth and promoting positive youth development. Current and recent research interests include:
- youth-oriented HIV counseling and testing
- primary care and treatment of HIV-infected youth
- mental health services
- peer outreach and education
- transition care
