Yevgeniya Shurp |Professional History

Yevgeniya (Jane) Shurp, M.D. is a Board-certified pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Shurp graduated from Medical School and completed her Pediatric residency training in her native country of Uzbekistan (former USSR). After moving to the United States, she completed a second Pediatric residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital, a teaching hospital of Columbia University, and joined Putnam Valley Pediatrics in 1997. She worked there until 2014 when she joined Children’s and Women’s Physicians of Westchester at its Croton Pediatrics location.

Dr. Shurp is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at New York Medical College, Vice President of the Putnam County Medical Society for over six years, and has appeared as a guest speaker on Cablevision’s weekly Health Watch Program. She is also a member of The Section of Integrative Medicine of The American Academy of Pediatrics. Her special interests are holistic/integrative pediatrics and nutrition.
