Cardiac Catheterization Program

Invasive cardiology is a set of techniques in which surgeons perform operations through very small incisions — roughly the size of a paper clip to allow cardiologists to make the proper diagnosis.

  • Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory:Deploying both technical and strategic innovations in the management of an increasingly broad range of indications.

Cardiac Genetics Registry

This registry is a collection of blood samples and clinical information that is used for research on the genetic causes of heart defects. Participation in a registry is different than participation in a specific study — the most important difference being that when donating to a registry, samples and information are used for a variety of studies related to congenital heart disease over a period of time.

Cardiac Inpatient Unit

每年,在Bo 42-bed心脏住院单位ston Children's Hospital provides around-the-clock care and monitoring to thousands of children — and adults — with acquired or congenital heart defects, from simple to complex cases.

Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Program

Caring for children with heart problems who are at higher risk for developmental learning and behavioral problems.

Cardiac Tumors Program

Our team are legends in the field of managingcardiac tumorsin children. Cardiac tumors are most commonly diagnosed with the aid ofechocardiographyandmagnetic resonance imaging, and our expertise in this diagnostic area leads to better defined surgical interventions.

Cardiology Outpatient Services

One of the world’s oldest, largest, and most-experienced pediatric programs, our size ensures that most of our child cardiologists subspecialize in a specific type of disorder, meaning your child’s doctor will know about your child’s condition inside and out, including the very latest treatments.

Cardiomyopathy Program

Providing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic options for infants, children, and adolescents diagnosed withcardiomyopathy.

Cardiovascular Clinic for Brain Development in Genetics

Boston’s Children’s clinicians have helped to diagnose more than 250 patient families with periventricular nodular heterotopia (PVNH) over the past 20 years. Our clinic has an interdisciplinary team of neurologists, genetics, genetic counselors, cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and other medical specialties to give a comprehensive approach to your child’s disease.

Cardiovascular Genetics Program

Providing clinical care, information, and resources for patients and families with a cardiac diagnosis in the setting of a recognized or suspected genetic condition, or a family with inherited cardiovascular disease.

Cardiovascular Health for Cancer Survivors Program

With our dedicated team of adult and pediatric cardiologists, we have developed a unique program that determines cardiovascular issues in patients who have survived childhood cancer, by a routine, less-invasive diagnostic process that determines which patients have cardiovascular issues earlier. This enables earlier interventions to optimize patient outcomes.

Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit

Boston Children’s Hospital has assumed a leadership role in the development of pediatric cardiac intensive care as a specialized service, and we’ve continued to expand our cardiac intensive care team over the years.

Complex Biventricular Repair Program

Developing innovative approaches to redesign ventricle function in utero and as early as possible to optimize long-term patient outcomes.

Congenital Heart Valve Program

Continuing to develop innovative catheter-based and surgical approaches for the preservation and restoration of valvular function in infants, children, and young adults.

Division of Cardiac Imaging

The Boston Children’s Division of Cardiac Imaging is among the largest, most advanced programs in the world. It is staffed by more than 20 physicians, all specifically trained in cardiac imaging in children and adults with congenital heart disease.

Electrophysiology Service

Specializing in catheter ablation, pacemaker, and defibrillator implant, and management of genetic arrhythmias, the program is one of the world’s largest for pediatric arrhythmia care.

Exercise Physiology Lab
